20% of our vision is through the outermost water covering our eyes. Dry eye is significant. Last year I was able to cure my dry eye with non-preserved eye drops and most importantly Omega-3 oil. On my eye surgeon's orders, in order to qualify for eye surgery, I had to ingest as much Omega-3 capsules as I could stand. Go for flax oil, not the Omega 3-6-9 fish oil. I am a hobbyist cosmetic formulator so I researched the heck out of the subject. Chia oil and ahiflower oil are even higher than flaxseed oil; on par are borage and evening primrose oils. I made my own face lotion, eye cream, & lip balm using high Omega-3 oils. Get thee to a health food store or all are available on amazon. - the surgeon was so impressed with this oil that he now recommends it too all of his patients.
