I think I'd be in the market for a new doctor...one that understands fibro. No way could I do 45 minutes of cardio exercises. Patients with fibro are told that gentle exercises like walking, swimming, or yoga at the best for them. Excessive exercise would have my muscles screaming at me.
Also it's not uncommon for people with fibro to have difficulty sleeping. We don't get in the deep R.E.M. sleep where our bodies start to heal themselves. I avoid caffeine later in the day, I go to bed and get up at the same time every day, and I only lie down in my bed when it's time to sleep. This helps train your body. Some members have had to resort to sleeping medication.
So do find a doctor that understands fibro. Remember....50% of the doctors graduated in the bottom half of their class.
