I'm an oldie here(in more ways than one) but I don't post very often. Today I am having one of those bad days. I Live were its been 100 plus for months. Today it has started cooling off and the weather change is affecting me. I don't ever let this get to me but I am moving slower today.

I looked at a very old post and it had me laughing out loud and I forgot my pain. Of course that was the idea behind our virtual parties.
For some of you newbies you might search for "Its Party Time".

I'm sure we stopped these for a good reason-probably took up too much space but the old ones are still here to read. Quick to read and funny.

Puppylover, I stopped them because people stopped joining in. I spent a lot of time in the planning and execution and for 2-3 days I spent hours on the forum keeping the party going. It was very tiring and very few were posting so I stopped doing that. In the beginning we had a huge response but when the participation came to a screeching hault, I stopped them. I did delete them after a few weeks so not sure if there are many up now. Yes, they sure were a lot of fun!

Now...if you REALLY want a good laugh read the link below. A man came on asking about using foam rollers for fibro. Dummy me didn't know there was exercise equipment called foam rollers and neither did some of our members. I laugh until tears are streaming down my cheeks whenever I read this link! Enjoy!

By the way, you will notice the man never posted on the forum again! I wonder why??? 😂😂😂😂😂

I'm really laughing now!!!!! I do remember that one. Some of the newer members probably think we are kind of wacko😉

Well you did give some wonderful parties! Thanks for all you do.

Thank you, Puppylover. And, yes, it's very important to laugh. I laugh at myself a lot for some of the goofy things I do. It makes me feel better. The Reader's Digest many years ago had a section of jokes called Laughter is the Best Medicine. Boy, is that true!

And I recall the foam rollers conversation, LOL. Sherrine, I know I (and likely others here) was thinking of curlers, too. yeah I can't believe I didn't chime in and talk all about my pink foam (hair) rollers. Ha ha--who knew??

The good ol' days on the fibro forum. Ah well, we're still having fun, right? yeah

I remember!! It was fun....really fun.

Robin (who I still miss) always rode her elephant, Fibroella, and picked people up along the way.
