Hi Mella,
Sounds like fibro, but other things also mimick ..
When our tests all come back normal and we feel like this , it is often fibro..
At the very least , ask to be referred for some therapy..they can for sure help you with range of motion issues in the neck..
Many of us use the trigger point therapy book..to learn to release trigger areas..
Had a fall a while back and am getting some strain and counter strain therapy..its been a slow slog back to my normal..but i am progressing..
I also really like topical pain relievers, like pain erase, or soothenal x2, as i am med sensitive and cannot take tons.
Stretching as much as we can is important also..at times when i get myofascial trigger points, my therapist says they have to be released, cannot be stretched out ..on our own..almost like the fascia is locked and must be unlocked before you can get a full stretch.
My daughter also has fibro and is getting some help from acupuncture and light therapy..she seems the best she has been in years..she does not have it like mine is..
