Fronts don't bother me but my body doesn't adjust temps in general. I handle cold but if I get cold my whole body seems to lock up. I stay cold longer than most and wear sweaters until it hits the upper 70's or so. I am miserable inside restaurants in the summer, shaking and shivering like crazy.
Once my body decides it's not cold anymore I slowly start wearing lighter clothing. But, when I get hot my muscles get very, very weak. I went outside on a 60* morning to plant some flowers in my garden. I'm talking small plants and digging a small hole for each. I ended up getting hot and literally had to crawl up the steps to my front porch. I don't go much of anywhere during the summer because of it and my pretty flowers die because I can't water them.
Oh, and yes I have different diseases besides fibro.
Riding in the car very far always wears me out and makes me hurt. The hurt isn't awful, just normal like with a flair but the fatigue and weakness that comes over me is awful. If it's hot out and I'm hurting I turn the AC down then turn my heated seats on.
My father-in-law had fibro but that doesn't really mean anything to me, of course. No one else in my family has it. I have read that autoimmune diseases can run in family's. For instance, I have one cousin who has sarcoidosis and another who's body(forgot the name, Otosclerosis maybe.) has attacked her ears and my son has psoriasis.
