Hi,
I have been diagnosed fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis-early stage....doesn't feel like early stage
I also have a history of chronic pain from lower back issues. I have 3 artificial disc replacements in my spine.
I am already in pain management and was beginning to finally see the end of the light, post op developed facet issues, after injections, meds, was ready to begin to exercise. I was a long distance runner and half ironman finisher 8 years ago, plus an avid tennis player. This has been devastating emotionally.
I don't have your ENORMOUS responsibilities of raising children...
I had a bike accident 2 months ago that sparked this flare apparently. I like you have a pain level of 8-9.
On the RA site I asked the same question. Most that answered said it was effective and if I had access to try it. I do and am in the process of getting registered in my state. Haven't decided if I will or not, I am little hesitant. Although everyone was very positive as well as the doctor that certified me. (Not a back alley MD like I imagined, a normal family practice female that believed strongly in the right of the patient to achieve an optimal quality of life for them.
On the RA website I have asked the question and have received numerous responses that they use it regularly and it is effective. I received a similar number of responses that said use plain CBD oil, not sure what that is, but the people using it seemed to have more chronic and may be useful for me later, I need as you something for acute pain breakthrough.
Don't know if I helped, but I think I will try, I don't think it will hurt anything. Plain CBD oil is over the counter, I have no idea but some swore by it.
Best of luck
Laurie
