I'm looking for ideas for getting my heart rate up, as if I just had a good run.
No, don't worry-- I'm not looking to do this immediately; it's just a goal. My problem is that with my neuro condition, the more I walk, the more stiff my legs and feet become. I've been checked out extensively by a top neurologist, and he has no idea why.
Swimming would be ideal, but because of this odd condition I have, my toes cramp when I'm in the water. Ouch!
I was thinking maybe something like dancing, where I can dance like no one else is watching (or would want to watch, LOL!)
Just this winter, I developed a fairly good exercise routine for stretching, but I still would like to see a better workout.
What has worked for you? How do you get your heart pumping? Ideas very appreciated!
