Yes, today is my birthday. We are getting ready to have some Dairy Queen ice cream cake. 😁👍

I can’t believe you remembered! I am now officially 73 years old and don’t have a clue how I got here so fast. But I am still enjoying my life and am shooting for 100. My great grandmother lived to be 104 and my aunt to 103 so the genes are there.

My husband's birthday is on the 21st, also. I knew yours was either on that day or near it. Next year I should be able to remember the exact date. smile

Yes, why not shoot for 100? Sounds like you are in a wonderful position with relatives living to (wow!) 104! I have a neighbor/friend who turned 100 last year. She's still sharp as a tack and it's so fun to talk to her.

Hope you enjoyed the DQ ice cream cake. They are SO tasty. I tell myself "just a few bites," but don't have to tell you that doesn't always work so well, LOL! smile

Luvs, my great grandmother went from horse and buggy to men walking on the moon in her lifetime! She was born in 1877 and passed on in 1981. Her father was in the Civil War. What an amazing life!

And when it comes to the Dairy Queen cake, I never think “just a few bites.” I think “I want a bigger piece”! 😂

And Alice!!! It’s wonderful seeing you here! It’s been quite a while. I hope you are doing just great! Usually when you don’t hear from members it’s because they are out enjoying their lives.

Ljm, you don’t know about Dairy Queen cakes? Wow! The bottom layer is chocolate DQ, the middle section is crushed chocolate wafer cookies and also fudge, and the the top layer is vanilla DQ and it’s “frosted” with vanilla DQ too. Then it’s decorated with frosting and you can have Oreos, or sprinkles, or my favorite is caramel with nuts. You have to try one! I don’t know anyone who doesn’t love them.
