bruising

hello. i have always been an easy bruiser. Normal ones though. But. My bruising lately has me wondering if others have this problem. I banged my knee and got a bruise and it was bright red with tiny red dots inside and then turned the normal purple and then green color but it still had many tiny polka-dots in it. I have never seen a bruise on anyone that looked this way. Has me quite alarmed. Does anyone know what this could be or have a similar experience? Is it a fibromite bruise? (kind of hoping it is)

I bruise easy too but I also have bleeding under the skin and it takes so little to cause the bleeding under the skin on my forearms. I have noticed it takes longer for bruises to go away than it use to. So the red dots could be bleeding under the skin. It takes quite awhile for that to go away.

Please do bring that to the attention of your doc. though. Anything new you should tell your doc about.

Hi, Anon, and welcome! I'm so glad that you joined us! I know you will get a lot of help here so just read and ask questions.

I bruise very easily, too. I'm like Marlee. Today I was putting something in my pantry and my forearm rubbed against a shelf and now I have a reddish-purple spot on my arm the size of a dime. It's blood under the skin. It's almost like my skin is thin. I do get it mainly on my forearms and these take 2-3 weeks to go completely away. I'd like to think it inhances the looks of my bracelets!
