Collarbone Pain

Does anyone experience pain around where your collarbone meets your neck. My Dr. thinks that i have Fibromyalgia, I think i have Lymes.

My suggestion would be to let the doctor run the tests and don't try to second guess him/her. If you don't have faith in your doc then find one who you feel more comfortable. Don't push for a diagnosis of lupus, lymes or fibro. Let the tests tell what it is.

Hi, Oakiemark, and welcome!  Many people with fibromyalgia have been diagnosed with Lyme and some with Lyme were diagnosed for fibro.  So, tests need to be run.  Read the Fibro 101 thread.  It's the second thread on the first page.  There is a link in there called "What Else Could It Be?"  You see, fibro mimics other illnesses so it is extremely important to get a good diagnosis...having had tests run and not just guessing.  Also, in that thread is a link to the symptoms of fibromyalgia.  That may give you a better idea, too.  I hope this helps you.

I use to have a lot of pain in my neck muscles that was near the collarbone. It felt like the collarbone but it was the muscles. Your neck muscles get so tense from all of the other pain that it becomes a viscious cycle between pain and tension.
