Re. foot relief: Does such a thing exist?

I'm always amazed how I can walk so much easier on soft grass than on hard floor. But living in MN, my lawn's days are numbered! Is there something similar I could walk on in the winter--perhaps something in a low cut box?  I'm even willing to walk in place if it gives my feet more flexibility. Any creative ideas? Hi Sera Smiles and welcome to MN!  I may not be the best 'barometer' when it comes to seeing how weather affects FM, as yes, I have FM, but also am told by the neurologist and dr. that I have somethig else going on as well.  The best guess is I also have CP, perhaps due to a nearly deathly flu I got at 4 months of age. Anyway, my body hates the cold and I stiffen like a board.  I keep trying to find ways to heat up my body, especially legs/feet. I don't know if other Minnestans wth FM get worse problems in winter, but I suspect they do. Even a drop of 10-15 degrees tightens up my muscles. My dr. said he wishes he could write me a prescription to go south each winter. LOL! Anyway, keep warm but enjoy the scenery. This really is a pretty state to live in, in 'living color'! We just have to bundle up for it!!
