Hello everyone-I am new here. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in the late 90's. I also have have Crohn's Disease, early stages Osteoporosis and Osteoarthritis. Not currently on meds for Fibro. I take 25 pills a day due to Crohn's. sad

Welcome to the fibro forum. I am so glad that you decided to pop in and join us.

I know what you mean about the frown and the meds. I take a lot, but not as much as you. If I don't keep my pillbox filled, I am freaking out when I have to get them all together in the morning. Between my medications and supplements, I feel like I have eaten a meal when I take them. I am absolutely full.LOL...

I hope that you join in on some of our threads, we have daily check ins to make the forum more fun. I think that you will enjoy participating with us.

There is a lot of interesting information on the forum and I think that you will enjoy reading about the different things we talk about. Feel free to chime in on any post.

:-)  Im so happy you have joined , im  fairly new also and the people here are fab for helping with advice on all areas.  I hope your fibro doesnt get to bad im on 8 pills a day just for that and if the tired fogginess settles in its hard to remember when to take pills and I tend to forget to keep and eye on when scripts are needed and my doc needs a week notice to get in. Lyrica is a big help to alot of people.

Hi, Beloved, and welcome to the fibromyalgia forum!  I, too, have Crohn's and osteoporosis.  Fun, huh?  We just have problems absorbing nutrients.  I'm taking Evista and 1,200 mg of Citracal for the osteoporosis.  Be sure to take Citracal.  It is calcium citrate and it is the easiest to absorb.  I took calcium carbonate (Caltrate) for years and wasn't absorbing it!  When I realized there was a difference in calciums, I did a test.  I took two glasses and put warm water in both of them.  I put a Caltrate in one glass and a Citracal in the other.  I checked the glasses a half hour later and the Caltrate was still whole and the Citracal was dissolved...in water!  So I knew this would work for me.

Hi Beloved and welcome-
So many of us have multiple issues going on and require extra meds- UG! And you have plenty! I get my meds and vitamins ready in the morning and divide them up over the course of the day. My stomach could never handle them all at once.
This is a great group to belong to and looking forward to getting to know you better! GamJill

Hello and welcome Beloved, Nice to meet you, wish it was under better circumstances. I don't take 25 pills a day, but get in a fair share of them. You'll get lots of support here, it's a great forum...
