Hello Everyone,
I hope you are all doing well. I know with the onset of cold weather, many of us experience an increase in pain and discomfort, so I hope you are all muddling through somehow.
This brings me to my question. For the last week, I have been experiencing a new type of headache with increased fatigue. Usually, I have a "base" headache (the mild one I've had for about a year). But, last week my headache increased quite a bit - has become more pounding and is giving me a "heavy head" type of feeling. I am dizzier, feel slight nausea when the headache moves to the back of my head, and have increased fatigue. At first, I thought it might be the flu. This was strange, as I always feel flu-like. But, since my flu-like symptoms all increased all at once, I thought it might actually be a virus. No fever, but plenty of increased body aches, chills, headache, and fatigue.
The new symptoms are not decreasing with time. So, I either have a persistent virus OR I am at the beginning of a new type of flare. Can anyone here tell me if they have experienced an increase in headache & dizziness and increase in body aches and chills at the onset of a flare? I do have increased pain too, but that is normal in cold weather. The headache is actually worse than my other pain.
Thank you in advance for any feedback! I am stalling on going to the doctor to be told it is simply more of the same.
Kerri
