Yet a new thing on my body.

Okay my hands and wrist have been hurting like they were smashed with bricks and the slightest chill makes them even worse. Last night I noticed my right forearm seemed puffy so I was pushing around on it when I felt a little hard lump under the skin, it's the size of three or four BBs. I can't tell if it is attached to a muscle or ligament. It's a few inches down from the bend of my elbow. If I push on it a certain way it I get a sharp pain like a TRP which I have all over my body but I have not felt anything this small and hard before. When I bend my arm so everything in there is loose I can get it between my fingers.

 

Just wondering if anyone else has had these little things under their skin??? Just when I think I have felt everything I think I can feel on my body something else pops up.

Hi Marlee,

All my lumps are larger than that and not as hard. But I have one on my forearm too.

It sounds like a ganglien cyst or a calcium deposit. But as Sherrine says, have the doctor check it out, just in case. Hopefully it is nothing serious.

My sister had one that showed up right above her elbow. It turned out to be a cyst & nothing to worry about, but as the rest said...let your doc check it out just to be sure.

I had totally forgotten that many years ago shortly after having colon surgery I had to have a cyst removed from the upper inside of the same arm but I don't remember it being as hard as this is. I have an app with rheumy on the 10th so I will have him look at it.
