Anyone else get this kind of flareup?

My FM (and drs suspect something else, possibly CP)  hits me in various places and this time 'chose' my upper body. It started with  'urgent' bathroom rushes and much soreness across the intestines down to the pelvic region and some in my back. This has eased daily and I have only slight soreness across the intestinal area today. I 'm slowly getting my diet back to normal.  The stiffness also hit my back 'big time' but thankfully left my feet and legs alone this time! I blame all this on the cold weather which has caused my body to spasm for years, though I know flu bugs are around.

Does anyone else with FM get this?? My intestines felt like they were swelling inside me (I'm sure they were in spasm) and that area remains quite tender a couple days til it slooooowly goes away entirely. At its worst, I feel like I should be cuddling a pillow to my stomach area. Feels so good when it goes away!

I'm glad to know others can relate, though I'm not happy about your pain!

I seem to get spasms more than cramping. Had a bit of cramping with the loose stools, but then again it's also 'that' time of the month, so who knows?

I had a laparoscopy and the gynecologist/surgeon later told me I have an 'interesting,' intricate, rather odd, twisted intestinal pattern. Sherrine, maybe you have the same?
