hello everyone, my name is sammi, i'm 31, mother of 2 boys, i live in nottinghamshire in england and i have had fibromyalgia for 18 years although it was only diagnosed 3 years ago.

Welcome to the forum. I am sure that you will love it here. Everybody is so kind and compassionate. There is also a lot of accumulated knowledge here. I am sure that you will learn a lot. Be sure to check out the fibro101 thread. It is the second thread. There is a lot of information on there. I am sure that you will find it very resourceful.

Hi, Sammi, and welcome!  I see you have been directed to the Fibro 101 thread...the second thread on the forum.  There is a lot of good info in that.  Also, dont hesitate to ask questions.  That's what we are here for.  You have come to a great site.  We have wonderful people that will help you live a full and enjoyable life.  Plus, we really do care about each other!

Welcome Sammi!

That is such a long time to go without knowing what is going on! I know it drove me crazy when I started having pain and being so tired all the time. I also had terrible migraines that they told me was from tension.

I am glad you found us. Everyone here is like a great big family. Willing to help or chat whenever you need to. There is some really good information as you have been told. The stretching excercises in the Fibro 101 thread have really helped me.

Hope you enjoy the board and are feeling well.

Hello Sammi, just wanted to welcome you to our forum.  When you get a chance tell us a little about England.  Sorry to hear you have fibro but you have come to a wonderful place to learn more about it.

Hi Sammi and welcome to the family. I'm glad you found us, this is the best place to be when you have fibro. Read, ask questions and vent when you need to.

Hi Sammi, it is so nice to meet you.  I love this site & you will too.  So many good people who can understand the issues we all have.  It is so calming to speak with people who know what you are talking about.  They can even finish our sentences when we have a bit of fog & can't find the right word.  LOL

Where abouts in England is Nottinghamshire?  I have always wanted to see England, it is such a pretty place.   Welcome & come here often.  Hugs, Denise

this is a great place-i'm so glad you've found us! i'm in my 30's, too, and also have 2 sons (and 1 daughter) so i understand how hectic life can get :)

Hi Sammi and welcome- wow, England!

18 years! I just was diagnosed this past spring so makes me a rookie at this fibro stuff. Have you had any support during those 18 years? If not, the moderators and group here couldn't be better! Everyone genuinely cares.

Nice to meet you and join us on our daily check-ins when you can. Chutz, one of our moderators posts a different subject everyday and feel welcome to chime in!!
