I dont know why he just didnt get a new book keeper? seems he would be packing up for more reasons then that.
I wanted to also say I am so sorry that this is happening to you. I thought I would lose my mind when all of the sudden the doctor that was giving me pain meds said she was running a specialty clinic and didnt have time to deal with me anymore and that was after I had went to see her in pain from my bladder and she said I cant fix you but I sure wont leave you in pain. Turned out as time went by that I relyed more on the meds for other pain then bladder pain but when I tried to find a doctor that would do pain management everyone told me no because all the pain clinics here went to private insurance and I had Medicaid!! The one pain clinic I found that said yes had me transfer all my records and I waited for the appointment and all the sudden 2 days before it they called and said "we dont take medicaid" hellooooo they knew the whole time I was on medicaid. I finally got back in with an old doctor that also wasnt taking medicaid but took pity on me 2 days before my meds ran out. And that was after the book keeper there told me no medicaid and I begged her to tell the doctor who I was and let him make the call.
Now the clinic my mom had gone to for many years closed. A new multi care place was supposed to take its place but they arent opening till the spring!!! so now my mom is in the same boat as I was in and noone would take her because she takes vicodin. This is a 77 year old woman!!! but she had also gone to the old doctor I had when she lived with me and even though he had nothing but trouble with her back then she promised him she would be a good girl and not be mean anymore lol so he took her back at least temporarly until the new place opens and we still dont know if they will do pain management. This is just ridiculous!!! With all the DEA troubles noone wants to deal with pain patients so what are we supposed to do? I wish you much luck.
