you're right-it is a long road. but there are so many wonderful people here who understand exactly what you're going through, so even though it's a long road, it doesn't have to be a lonely one!

i am very glad you've found us and i agree-you should definitely check out the fibro 101 thread. there is so much great information there, it really is a blessing to have access to it.

Well, hello Pattipanda, and welcome!  We always love to get new members here.  You have come to a great place!  We have wonderful people here that have good ideas to help you live a full and enjoyable life with fibro. 

 

Be sure to check out the Fibro 101 thread...the second thread on the forum.  You will find links to good information about fibromyalgia there...including symptoms, good stretching exercises and the information about our free gift for you!  Really!   Also read posts and ask questions.  That's what we're here for.

Welcome to the fibro family.  This is a great site to come to get info, ask questions, vent, and make some true friends.  Unlike a few other fibro sites, 99.9% of the time we all get along, and even if we may not agree with someone, we still try to respect each other.  One of the great things about this family is that we are all different ages, so you can always find someone to relate to (although, most of the teens are more mature than I am! ).  However, I've noticed that there are quite a few of us from Illinois & Washington state.  I wonder what that means?

 

Anyway, we welcome you with open arms (wait a second, it might take a second to get out painful arms up...OW!).  See?  We care so much, we'll literally hurt for each other.

 

Again, welcome.  I hope you'll feel comfortable here!
