So, my rhuemtologist has told me, I have read various articles about
it and I have talked to people about
it... I want to hear it straight from the horses' mouths ;] ...
Hot showers are supposed to be GREAT for Fibro, reduce the pain and whatnot, but the past week or so of me taking showers, the heat has made me feel HORRIBLE, I can't even describe it... but I feel extremely lightheaded, and today I was very close to passing out... I switched quickly to cold water and sat down to relax, and within a minute or two I stood back up in the cold water, and I felt sooo much better for the remainder of the shower.
Coldness usually does bother my joints (like the weather lately), BUT, the heat makes me feel AWFUL.
Can anybody give me answers and/or their opinions??? Thank you in advance!
I have an appt. with my Rhuemy the 22nd, I can't wait to discuss some things with her, this being one of them (as long as you guys feel it is necessary or "odd" of this to be happening)...
