omg-it is SO COLD!!!!

I never thought I'd feel guilty about the temperature being 13 degrees this AM here in Upstate SC.  Here I was, complaining and whining, and y'all are homemade popsicles!    I guess we are really haveing a heat wave compared to most of y'all.

I will painfully jump (or crawl) on the bandwagon and say that these cold temps are making my pain horrible.    It's times like these when I wonder if I made the right decision moving away from CA.  My body got so spoiled being away from the southeast for so long, but now I am paying for it.

I'm really sorry that y'all are so frozen.  I'll try not to complain about it being freezing (but not as frozen as where all of you are).  I'm sending you warm thoughts...for whatever that's worth.

Hey Ladies.....

I'm sorry to say but you can keep your below temps, I'm sweatin' it out here in So. CAL. Today I think we are cooling down to 84, the sun is shining bright but I feel like crap. I don't do well in either extreme (hot or cold) and the Santa Ana (very dry and "smoggy"nasty) winds are a pain in my everything. I do not have A.C. in my house, I live about 4 miles from the beach but it still don't matter unless we get an ocean breeze.

Not to burst any beautiful beachy sunshine filled fantasy vision you might be having, I live in the town where we have a big water treatment plant at one end of town at oceanside and a oil refinery on the other. Mmmm, smells and looks mighty pretty around here

Well I would like it to cool down again, summer will be here soon enough, my hot flashes are a pain enough, don't need the air temp. to make me any hotter all the time 24/7. Maybe this year I can get an A.C. unit put in the window in my bedroom at least.
