Donnaneil and Chutz, I waved at you from the plane and Pike's place.  Did you see me?  I was the one hobbling around on a cane while my 62 yr old mother in law raced around ahead of me.  Our 86 year old grandmother was doing better than me too!  I looked for you at Pike's place.  Sorry, Dona, if you really wanted to meet, I didn't see your message until we got home. 

When walking up the stairs from the ferry, I got slower and slower and nearly got stuck about 3 stairs from the top while hubby rushed on ahead and left me there!  We took the elevator back down and I was so so thankful!

We saw the boys throwing the fish around and the monk fish jumped at me and startled me (even though I knew it would happen)!  Now my life is complete.  We even got a Starbuck's coffee.  Somehow Starbucks is necessary in Seattle!  Oh oh we even saw the curiosity shop.  The sun was out and the air was crisp and clean.  What fun!

Sounds like you had a fun time! My dh leaves me behind all the time. I cannot keep up with him and when I try, I end up having to stop because I pushed myself too far. He did offer to get me a wheelchair in the store the other day. I think it was just because he cannot stand for me to take so long. lol

Atleast you got to see the nice part of Washington, I live in what we call the "armpit" of washington. It's nothing but tumbleweeds and sand around here. When most people think of washington they think of huge mountaines full of rich green trees, but the other side of washington is as ugly as can be.

I walked up those steps when I was 9 1/2 months pregnant while carry my 2 year old most of the way up. Oh, forgot the stroller. It was an unseasonably warm April, 93 degrees. When I saw the elevator I was ticked.

I am glad you had a nice time. My swim teacher's hubby is one of the guys who throws fish. He is called a fish monger. Or is that mongerer?

Sue!! I missed you...we were at the beach over the long weekend. I'm so glad you got to do some of the fun things in Seattle. Personally I avoid the large cities only because they are just full of people and cars...lol. I'm a country gal but there are some great sights in Seattle...and I hear the coffee is good too. Never tried it myself...lol
