five days of walking bliss

My feet haven't hurt a lot since Tuesday!  I have gone to fibro class and walked there, done some shopping, walked from the far end of the parking lot and walked to and fro about my house today on a day off and voila - have had only minimal pain!!!  reat news is always fun to share.

Hi stang,

Fibro class is something the pain management team at kaiser has.  It is an 8 week class that lasts 3 hours each wednesday.  the first half is taught by the psychologist and the second half is taught by the physical therapist.  they teach stuff like how to deal with flares, what type of pain we have (nerve pain, etc), info about meds, etc.  the dorky kaiser people put us in a room all the way at the back of the hospital.  we could park in back, but we then have to go all the way to the front to register!  

it is helpful this site is helpful cuz they talk about fibro and i realize geeze, i am not alone in this and i am actually not crazy!

See, Sue!  That's what I was trying to tell you a few weeks ago.  My feet will kill me and then they clear up.  Last summer I could barely walk my dog around the block.  Yesterday I took her for two walks.  We walked one mile for each walk...two miles yesterday!  I find that if I wait long enough the problem goes away but something else crops up.  I'm so glad you are getting around much more comfortably.
