My insurance company will not pay for aqua therapy! I am beyond angry and upset right now. It is the only thing that will help me. The representative slipped and outright said "well fibromyalgia isn't considered a real disorder and we do not cover treatment for it" When I calm down some I am first reporting her then I am calling disability and see what they can do. I am sobbing mad right now. I am tired of constant brick walls I am facing to get well. Regular phs. therapy is way too difficult for me. I was layed up for four days the first time I tried it. All this before coffee and when I get upset I lose all appitite so I know I will have a messed up food schedule today to top it off. I do not know what to dso right now besides go back to bed to hide. Thank you for anyone who reads this. I just needed a place to vent with people who understand.

Called insurance company back and now they are saying they have no record of my being denied. GRRRRRRRRRRR. and they do cover aqua therapy if it is a medical necessity. I am so beyond angrey at this point. Called all my doctors and I am making them take care of it. I allready have a headache from this.

Hi Angeline-

Hope you reported that "special" representative that had "no" idea what she was talking about- and don't get me started on what she stated re: fibromyalgia! Glad to hear there was a happy ending to this. :-)

My mother raised me to never give. There is always some one higher you can speak to. I started threatening law suit and and I was going to turn them in for discrimination. It worked for this round at least. Thank you for the support.

I am glad that things worked out for you. It is always good to check into things, a lot of people would have taken no for an answer.
