Just wanted to say It's my daughters 16th Birthday today. And I am thankful for her. Its so amazing to me that I almost lost her when she was kidnapped at 4. We are having over 25 kids over tonight to celebrate. I know it will be hard for me, but yet a joy. Oh and by the way those who have been following my story about her, The Efflexor is working great so far. She thanked me yesterday for letting her go on the meds. Happy Tax day everyone. smilewinkgrin

Hi Baloo,

I am so happy that you are having a party for your daughter. I have been taking effexor for years and it has worked well for me. I am glad it is helping her.

It must have been so traumatic for everyone when she was kidnapped. I haven't read the post on it. But I can just imagine how devastating that it was. I am glad that everybody has recovered.

This was a wonderful post. It is so nice to hear positve things. I hope that the party goes wonderfully.

My dd turns 16 next month.  I have enjoyed this time in her life so much and am incredibly thankful for her too.  :-)

 

Wish your dd a very happy birthday from me, and I hope she has a wonderful time at her party.

This is such a lovely thread and please wish your daughter a happy birthday from me. 

 

What you went through when she was a toddler was so traumatic but it sure does make you count your blessings.  I'm so glad things turned out well and all of your are together celebrating this joyous day.

Wow, Baloo, I can't imagine what it must have been like for you (and your daughter..and your family) when she was kidnapped!!  How wonderful for all of you that she is in your home about to celebrate her 16th birthday!  :-)

This was a wonderful post, thank you.  You sound like a wonderful, loving mother.
