Memory loss is a big part of FM and is what some call 'FibroFog'. While there are no indefinite treatments for memory loss, there are things to try that may help in the long run. First I'll ask- Do you have problems sleeping and are you taking medication to help you sleep? There's a supplement called Melatonin, which is a melatonin, well supplement. Melatonin is a hormone created in sterotonins neurotransmitters and is what links fibromyalgia to memory loss, problems sleeping, anger, depression, and other behavioral issues. No, you don't have some sort of psychosis. Melatonin supplements are available at healthfood stores and pharamcies all over. They help a lot of people with their problems sleeping; and since they have to do with the sterotonin's process, then it's quite possible they'll somewhat have an impact on your memory. They are safe to take for everyone so don't worry. Lastly, there are memory games you can play and tricks you can learn to simply build up a way for you to more easily remember facts and everyday things. I would recommend consulting your doctor about
maybe going to a therapist or even just look for a book that could give you tips.
