mayo pain

          Hi haven't posted in awhile , have fibro , and mctd , was looking for some help , been having pain in the back lower part of head and neck , have tmj , was wandering if this could be mayofacial pain , it started 3 months ago and has just got worse . Use to get pain about 3 times a month now it is cronic and everyday , am allready on steriods for lupus and that is not helping with the imfamation, any help would be greatly apprecated .

Hi Ginny , I take 10 mg a day 5 in morning and 5mg at night , Rumey is trying to take me down to 7 and a half , but I resently broke my anke , and he wants to wait until swelling goes down with that . I am starting PT for that tommarrow , broke it in two different places and mutiple tendon tears . Ortho don't wan't to do mri until we try Pt first . He doesn't want me to get surgey unless we aboustly have to cause he don't want to add anymore arthitis , so exercize for firbo has been hard to do . Think that's why I am flaring so bad and on top of that had a reaction to plaqunil hair started falling out quit taking that , now am back on and am taking folic acid that seems to be working , but I have to wait for that to kick back in , then we can lower the predisone . I am gone to try to get to rumey this week . Good news is today when I woke up the hand and other pains have tapered down think fibro flare is weaning down . But I am ready to get shot in the head for this neck pain , Thankyou for help and take care .
