Hi all,
I posted a thread a while back (https://www.healingwell.com/community/default.aspx?f=24&m=1427795&g=1429047#m1429047) before I got my results, wondering if I had fibro. I am still not sure. I'm a 29-year-old male. MRIs of brain, spine, and shoulder (first symptoms appeared in shoulder) all came back normal. All my bloodwork came back normal. Auto-immune, liver function, etc...
Symptoms began at the begining of March. I've had aches and pains from head to toe at this point. They are mild. This is why I'm not sure what is going on, as most of the people who have fibro seem to be in pretty horrible pain all the time. My shoulder was the first part of my body to have pain, and that actually was pretty bad...preventing me from sleeping and doing much of anything. In time, my shoulder got better. I experience a lot of muscle twitching. I do have pains in my arms, elbows, knees, pretty much everywhere, but they are very fleeting. Some may only last for 5 minutes. A lot of times, I can find a tender area close to the pain. I haven't been back to the gym yet, I'm a bit scared to go back, because last time I was there was when the symptoms started. I tried to jog a mile not long ago, and it was rough. My legs started hurting pretty bad. However, I was able to do landscaping without issue. I am mowing and edging the yard without any problem. Just curious, if anyone has a mild case, or if any of you have periods of time where you are not in much pain. I have a very clean diet, so maybe that is helping me out here. I have not been diagnosed with fibro, and have not suggested this to my neuro. I don't want to suggest anything yet, for fear of them agreeing with me, thus not testing further. This forum has been a great resource for me. Thanks for any input.
