Hope 4: You mentioned going to doctor with shoulder and neck pain. He put you on a short course of meds. Could this be related? Do you know what the meds were? I had a similar experience a month back (almost), an emergency room doc put me on a medicine which nearly killed me. He said it was a "muscle relaxer". It wasn't. It was an amphetamine, and me with critical hypertension, well, I could easily have stroked out. It hit me like a hammer. I had no idea what was going on. Now, almost a month later I am still so screwed up. about the fatique, well, I awaken everyday in a lot of pain. That and my pups, needing to go out, is what gets me up. Usually fairly early. Yesterday, I overdid it, trying to totally clean and sanitize the house we moved out of, supposedly at the 1st of May. The owners gave me permission to take my time getting out as I was having health problems. So, I am short on funds and had to absolutely make this the last go at it, if you know what I mean. Overdid it. Came home rolled out of the truck, got food started for supper, and laid down. Hurting so bad. So tired it was an imposition and painful to go to washroom. Hurt everywhere. There's a lot of bending to get into tiny corners when cleaning. I have a routine, usually, except when something "out of the ordinary is going on, ie. moving". That routine is get up early, run dogs, fix their breakfast, drink mine (ensure), attend to errands, at 2 PM to 3 Pm, I'm done. I relax, watch TV, read, make phone calls, all low key activities. In university, I always had a spot in the library where I would go between classes or at lunch and power snooze. Same while working. Always tried to give body 1/2 to 1 hour rest, midday. More would wipe me out. I think pain and fatique are the cornerstones of Fibro, oh yeah, I forgot, Fibrofog also.
