Hi Beautymom!
And glad you have joined our family! We are a wonderful bunch, ya know...
and you must be too since you joined in. I also think it's just that you are a different surface and your legs will get used to it. I would think it will be better in the long run, but it may take a bit more time. Think of walking on hard dirt...pretty easy. Then think of walking in soft sand...yikes! That makes MY legs hurt. Maybe sort of like that is a very small way. Keep those calf and thigh muscles warm and rest them when they hurt.
I saw in your profile you love to sew. What are your areas of interest??? I've sewn clothes since I was 8 or 9 but these days, when my grandchildren are closer to that age now, I am a quilter. And as you know, a fabric-aholic! I just bought quite a few pieces off Ebay to build my stash up because I have several quilts to get done. In our extended family we have 2 new babies due, I have a wedding quilt to finish and .... I'll shorten this long story....My paternal grandmother raised 6 children and had lots and lots of grandkids (can't think of how many now). So she began working on a quilt for each grandchild which was presented when you graduated from high school. I decided to take up on her tradition for my grandkids and also my "extra" grandkids which are increasing...lol The one I'm starting to cut is going to be a Japanese style Sashiko quilt. I'm excited to get going as I've never done it before.
OK, enough about
me. Please do join us for our daily Koffee Klatch. It's a fun time in our day and no talk of pain!...lol
Hugs,
Chutzie
