Adipex

Does anyone take adipex? My doctor put me on it to help with my weight. But I have gotten the greatest side effects. I have energy, even though I had a horrible night last night. I am awake, and have done several things. It doesn't seem to help the pain, but I like that it is helping the energy. Wow...and it isn't making me manic like other products that help with energy or weight loss. I hope she keeps me on it for awhile!

This stuff is a stimulant (similar to amphetamine) and habit forming. Please be very careful and read up on it on the web. Most doctors do not prescribe it for longer than six weeks and one of the warnings I found stated you should count your pills and be sure that family members are not taking them because this drug is often abused.

Coming off of it can lead to some problems as well, including depression, so talk to your doc about this, ok? Don't want you to get hooked and have that problem to deal with as well.

Thanks for the heads up guys. I'll research it. She did mention that it was a short term aid. Also, I am supposed to pulse it...4 or 5 days on, 2 or 3 days off. We shall see. If I continue to have trouble sleeping, I will have to come off it anyway.
