Hi, Turkey Baby, and welcome! You could possibly have something called plantar faciitis. It feels like someone is driving a stake through your heels. When your feet hurt you carry yourself differently and it does affect the rest of the body. I have had plantar faciitis and it was terrible.
Right now I am have heel pain in my left foot. I take my dog for a walk every morning and it really hurts. By the time I make it home, my knee will hurt some and my shins...both of them...feel like I have shin splints. But, I know it's because of that painful heel.
I do wear Birkenstock shoes and they got me back on my feet. I'm having this problem right now because I always have a flare all summer long because of our weather. This will go away for me soon.
Be sure to check out the Fibro 101 thread...the first thread on the forum. There are links to good information about fibro, including a list of symptoms. You might see yourself there.
I'm glad you found us and joined in and I hope to hear more from you soon.
By the way, I put a title in the subject line for you so you will get more responses.
