I am 35yrs old with severe pain. When I wake up in the morning and get out of bed, I have to hold onto my dresser and the wall, because it hurt to put pressure on my feet. As I walk the pain will go from my knee into my back (all the way across). Then the pain will go into the back of my legs, feel like I am having charliehorse cramps. My toes wiil become numb, I am not a diabetic. The longer I stand it hurts, the longer I sit it hurts. I am sensitive to pressing in these areas. The pain will also move from my back up into my shoulder and my neck causing a stiff feeling. The worser the pain the fatigue I become.

Hi Turkey,

Sorry to hear you are in pain. i think you should first check with a Dr. to be sure there no unerlyning problems that could be casuing you pain. also the Dr. maybe able to give you some thing to help manage your pain at night. I have alot of trouble at night with pain. I take a narcotic to help me at night. I only take advil during the day. I also try to stretch in the morning. I hope you find some relief soon.

Hello Turkey, welcome to the forum

Treebo gave you great advice. Give your doctor a call, let him know what is going on.

Soaking in a hot bath helps relax my muscles. Sometimes I do it a couple of times a day
when I am really hurting. Excercise is great to help build muscle, help with flexibility,
and it makes you feel better.

Hi, Turkey Baby, and welcome!  You could possibly have something called plantar faciitis.  It feels like someone is driving a stake through your heels.  When your feet hurt you carry yourself differently and it does affect the rest of the body.  I have had plantar faciitis and it was terrible. 

 

Right now I am have heel pain in my left foot.  I take my dog for a walk every morning and it really hurts.  By the time I make it home, my knee will hurt some and my shins...both of them...feel like I have shin splints.  But, I know it's because of that painful heel.

 

I do wear Birkenstock shoes and they got me back on my feet.  I'm having this problem right now because I always have a flare all summer long because of our weather.  This will go away for me soon.

blush  Thank you so much for the help. Now I don't feel like I am all alone and going through my pains by myself. For a long time, I felt the pain was in my head or that I was over exaggerating. I will take your advice, and let you know results soon.
