? about symptoms

Hello I usually post on lupus, but I was browsing and noticed a thread about having flu symptoms.

My hubby has been feeling terrible for a few years now, he feels like he has the flu all the time, tingles from head to toe (lyrica seems to help the tingling some tho) his joint hurt (hands, feet, hips, knees, neck) does anyone else with fibro have any of these symptoms? He has to go lay down often because he feels so terrible. His ANA did come back slightly elevated 1:40 and his dsANA (double strand) came back at 15. from what I understand these labs would not be related to fibro more towards lupus, but I am not sure if maybe he does not have both??

He is going to his 3rd rhuemy on 9/16 hopefully this one will be able to help....have not had any luck with the other 2.

HI, and welcome! Yes, you can have both fibro and lupus. But, we do have all the achy muscles and it feels like our joints hurt, too. But, it's actually the muscles, tendons, and ligaments that help move the body that are hurting. It does feel like arthritis but it isn't.

Be sure to check out the Fibro 101 thread...the first thread on the forum. There are links to good info about fibro...including a list of symptoms. See if that helps you some.
