I've been in a flare for almost 2 weeks now. Some days flaring more than others, per usual. Went on a day long excursion with DH to see a Mill Museum, lots of walking even some stairs. I thought I'd be okay pacing it, taking it at my own speed and did okay until on the way home. Aching and super stiff.
Went to bed, Tylenol and slathered up with Blue Emu, slept only couple of hours until pain started in again. Back to slather on Topricin. One more hour of half-sleep before pain and the cough started. I get this deep down in my lungs cough sometimes as a flare progresses. Well, so much for sleeping!!
Out to my recliner chair, heating pad on my back and the heated throw on the rest of me. Ahh-- that heated throw is my buddy, my pal when I'm flaring. Well, I was up for over an hour before returning to bed. No more coughing and was able to sleep some. So, this morning, the flare has lessened some, I'm still aching and stiff and fibro fog in abundance. No cough.
So, my question is does anyone else get this strange cough? It is always at the end of a major flare, doesn't last for long and then goes away.
