nerve pain in head/face

My fibro has been pretty tame all Summer, but the pain came back with a vengeance this week.  Does anyone else get nerve pain in various parts of the head and here and there on the facial area?  Neurontin helps usually, but in the meantime, it can sure be miserable pain, especially when it hits around the eyes and ears.  Thought maybe it was my sinuses, but it seems to be darting around from my neck up just about everywhere!  I actually put on a warm winter cap which helped quite a bit, though I looked pretty silly!  Any other suggestions for dealing with this?  Thanks!

Hi:  I've gotten hormonal migraines for years, and usually take something with caffeine to zap them, but I've tried caffeine with these and it does nothing.  Also, this seems to be pain that moves around both the front and back of the head--sorta like little muscle spasms, and my face can feel like a solid cement block.  I suppose they could be a different type of migraine I'm not familiar with(?)

interesting. there is also something called abdominal migraines. i wonder. i havent noticed if that happens, but i'll try to keep track for awhile. good question
