Thanks for the advice. I have stopped the anti-depressant and my fibro is not nearly as bad as before, was to the point where i had a tense, almost electrical, pain exponential worsening to the point that i could even continue to read (though i didn't know the content i was reading) for distraction alone (oddly, it would stop suddenly quit and start again about 15mins later). I have been taking it easy, which it seems the more i do the worse it gets, and i am one who has a lot on his list of things to do. There has also been a huge turn in my life- a great love- and this surely has helped.
As for natural therapy, the source is completely reliable.
And cause: well, it's a fairly new disease, which leads me to believe it is environmental. Something in our food, or water even. This would mean a certain number of people are more susceptible to this. But i am open minded. I have considered the psychologist aspect, and to this regard i must people with fibro may, just as i believe of many people with depression, are merely reactionary to a sick society. This would still mean environmental, of course. And there's the trauma/depression angle, which would at least make sense in my case, but doesn't seem consistent enough.
Just as some suspect the introduction of pesticides on food to be the cause of MS and Parkinsons, we must examine what could possibly be introduced to our environment that'd cause fibromyalgia. We can't be so passive to think spreading poison on our food and in our water to have no repercussions. Hell, even the electrical appliances, among other things as well, produce electromagnetic fields that could be harmful.
So determine what you will on cause and cure (cure possibly just being removal of cause, at least in hopeful eyes). But i have a strong sense that we are causing this disease. So in my hopeful eyes i believe it can be cured.
And apologies on how i started this discussion. I was in bad spot. Coming off the anti-depressants was ****ing with me bad, was in quite the state. Needed to be reassured that it wouldn't always effect me so much, be such a huge barrier in my path. I'm starting to feel better though. And wish to continue this topic with means to discuss possible causes, cures, experiences. I wish from something productive, even though i started it out in a stagnant manner.
At any rate i don't plan on living with this my entire life, or much longer for that matter. I plan to keep everyone posted on my condition and therapies i try. Although, the person i plan on seeing works on an individual basis, which only makes sense. Some things work for some, some things don't.
Also, i will add that i know already mood plays a big role into this. I can't seem to believe that it's the cause though. A friend of a family greatly improved when she retired and her stress level was minimal. Mine has greatly improved with an amazing relationship that has entered my life.
Hoping this to be a constructive topic on this forum. If you need any info regarding what i've discussed just hit me up.
