I'm so tired of the fibro fog...

Major brain cramp today. Ordered new prescriptions for several meds online from mail order 90 day program. Very efficient, very proud of myself. Hubby got home and looked at printouts and said, "Why did you order these online? You always get these locally."

Oops.

He said you have a list, why didn't you check? I told him I had the list in my hand looking at it when I did it.

It may be time to take me out and shoot me. j/k But omg I'm tired of this.

Just needed to vent. Thanks for listening.

You're not alone! lol I hate when that happens. I've done some pretty stupid things lately and usually my husband just walks away shaking his head. Even things that I regularly do, I sometimes forget. Fibro fog can really mess with us sometimes! I just try to grin & bear it. Hopefully I won't mess something up that is really important.

Beanley, this is a great place to vent!

Besides, what's wrong with ordering prescriptions online? When you get them for 90 days at a time by mail, they're usually cheaper! :)

I need to vent a little too.....I've come so close to forgetting something really important at work recently it scares me. I don't want people to notice that my IQ has recently dropped by at least 50 points, so I've thought that I should quit and go on disability before they figure it out, but I really can't afford to!

This really sucks! :(

Today I left the doctors and in 30 mins called back... Ummmm.... how many of those pills can i have a day?

As my sweet little brother dropped off some food YAY, i don't know how to cook, i recently learned i can make rice, pudding in the microwave, and stir-fry. He's says bye love you, a few mins later i look up and say... hey did i tell you i love you back?? He's sighs and laughs ya you always tell me you love me.

Hehe i hate those moments.

Beanley, it is usually a better idea to get long term meds from the mail order. Usually what you pay for a one month rx at local is what you pay for a three month at mail order. I usually just do the immediate rx locally, like antibiotics and such. My dh and I have many long term rx and they go to the mail order. I do get a local rx to get us started, but then f/u go to mail order. I think that was a smart move on your part. It is done and out of the way for 3 months - YES!

Just a clarification, I do get all my long term meds mail order. What I tried to order was stuff that I take as needed, rather than every day. Plus one that I don't even need any more. I was looking right at the list, just went to the wrong website. We order both long-term and short-term online, which is what made it confusing. And we recently changed pharmacies, which is the type of change that always confuses me. My husband does almost every thing for me, but my meds are still my job. Oh well.

And it was a brain cramp, NOT a senior moment!! Not that anyone said it was, I just needed to say that for myself lol!

beanley:  I hear you!  I took Elavil last night before bedtime, and slept like a rock, but today my head FEELS like a rock.  Just so slow on just about everything.  Is there an "answer" to fibro fog?  Has anyone found anything that helps, even somewhat?
