a nasty flare

I'm in the middle of a flare like I've never had before - or at least it's been a long time anyway. I hurt everywhere...last night to tears. I slept in my recliner as I hurt too much to go to bed. I feel it starting all over again this morning. The weather here in MI, is not helping anything - wind, rain and cold. Not sure why I'm telling you all about this. I just needed to talk. I guess I figured you would all understand. Thanks for listening.

I am so sorry you are in such a bad flare. I truly do understand..

not a place on your body that does not hurt..

take a nice long hot hot bath and try to rest today

Those flares, I detest them... they are so so hard. 

Don't give up!

Do something just for you today. Seek some company if it helps you to have somebody in the house with you. Or get some more help with a couple of practical things... it's too hard on your own.

I can't do much more than pray for you. You need to TRY and keep your head up high, then we are proud. There are people out here who understand a huge part of what you are going through, and who are not judging you whatsoever. You can do this.

Hang in there Myjoy there are a lot of us in the same miserable boat right now with the weather changes. Even the top of my feet were hurting last night, how can the top of your feet hurt, I don't walk on the top???

 

You know your in a flare when??? You have to assess your body to find one little spot that doesn't hurt. smilewinkgrin

So sorry you are hurting, I really do feel your pain, I'm flaring too, such nasty, nasty
weather! Hoping our flares take a hike, QUICKLY!!!!!

myjoy, so sorry to hear you are hurting so bad right now. I hope this flare passes soon. Have you gone through your mental check list of everything you can do that helps? I find that sometimes I forget about something I could do for the pain and my husband will ask, did you do such and such? And I say, oh I forgot, thanks!

And Marlee, my husband and I have been using our "left little toe" for years as the one spot on our bodies that doesn't hurt!

I've already taken two naps today. I just have no energy along with the pain. Sorry others are going through the same. Thanks for your kindness.

Ok....this is day 3 of my bad flare. I'm in agony. I know many of you are in the same boat right now. Glad I have a place to talk about it where folks understand. Sorry to keep going on and on.....but I have had it.

Oh, no! You poor thing! I wish I could find that magic wand to wave for all of us.

I'm sure you are doing everything you can to take good care of yourself and ride out this flare. So I'll just share something kinda simplistic and silly, but it helps me.

I always try to live one day at a time, but when I'm really hurting, I actually need to take it ONE HOUR at a time. Like right now I'm sitting here with an icepack balanced on the top of my head, due to a wicked migraine hangover. But I just have to make it 16 more minutes til this hour is over, yay!

No need to be sorry. That's what we're here for. To support eachother. I know how you feel. I have been in a flare for a bout a month. It's was my worse one ever. I think it coming to an end ( At least I hope). Hang in there, and anytime you want to complain we are here to listen.
