How to find a good doctor

The best thing happened to me, I need a good doctor to deal with my fibro so I I went to yahoo local and punched in fibromyalgia for where I live. I got a list of doctor and locations. One member had a wonderful post about her rheumy and how much he has helped her. So to all those out there I want you to plz post on yahoo or other sites about your experience with doctors good and bad. If you are looking for a doctor like me I would use yahoo as a source on your way to finding the right doctor.

Laura, have you had a chance to read Fibro 101 yet...the first thread on the forum? Link number 12 talks about finding a good fibro doctor. Hopefully that will help you.

I use a board certified Internist for my fibro and many use a rheumatologist. Just be sure to ask if they treat patients with fibromyalgia before you make your appointment. You don't want to waste your time and money.
