Dexter Shoes Let me Down

I had a pair of Dexter shoes called WalkMocs. They were the only shoes I ever had that made my feet feel better. They were like a soft hug. Then they stopped making them. arrggghhh

I've heard Softspots are good and their Bonnie Lites are a type of moc although they are really oxfords. I've heard they are wonderful. Has anyone tried them? They're around 70 dollars and I can't afford that if they don't help.

Haven't tried them but Rebock DMX are the best for me. I'm on my feet 8 hrs a day on concrete. I'm

on the chubby side and a heel striker and they last the best for me.

I never tried that style of Dexter shoes but the ones I did try I couldn't wear.  They hurt my feet.  I am a believer in Birkenstock shoes.  I had plantal faciitis so badly that I couldn't put weight on my heels.  It was horrible until I tried Birkenstocks.  The plantar faciitis is a thing of the past now and I can walk long distances without my feet hurting me.

I have tried alot of shoes but recently back in July bought a pair of SAS shoes and they are super. Last week I had to be on my feet for a while wore a different pair of shoes and regretted it. Wearing SAS shoes worked wonders. They are a bit pricey though. They have regular stores where I bought mine like $110.00 but they also have outlet stores in someplaces.

I have been wearing SAS shoes for over 25 years.  They have good arch support, come in lots of sizes, and they last forever.  I only wear the sandal now because I am in a warm climate.  It's the one with an arch support.  They aren't real dainty looking, but then, I wear an 11 narrow eyes I bought 3 pairs several years ago at their once a year sale.  They are expensive but last and last.  I have one pair of oxfords still that I bought to wear during my last pregnancy and that son is 26 now.  I still wear occasionally if we go out at night and it is real cool.

 

Fitting is difficult because I have a large, narrow foot with a high arch.  Once I found something that works I get several pairs.  My walking shoes are AVIA cantilever with a good arch support.  I tried them on in a store and then went online and bought 5 pairs.  They cost less than the store and the shipping was free.  I also put a gel insert in them.

 

We have to take care of our feet so we can do all this walking we should be doing. tongue

I like Mizuno for athletic shoes and Josef Siebel for dressy-casual shoes.

Yes that was the name I was looking for on my earlier post, wink I have a pair of Mizunu I bought at Dicks Sporting Good.  The ones for mid arch support best walking/cross trainer type shoe I have ever had.

And for flip flops cannot beat the Olukais  lots of support  live by the beach need my flipflops!
