I am Thankful for...... (Previous post did not have subject.. sorry : ( )

Living with an illness is never easy, especially when you have chronic pain and so many bizzare symptoms from it.   We often think it is the worst thing and we have been robbed from our lives.   I feel that many of us often forget to think about the positive, good things, we have in our lives due to this illness.   I feel that during this time of the year; it is a perfect opportunity to think of the good things in our lives and all that we have to be Thankful for.   This is why I would love all of you to take a minute to think of all that you have to be thankful for this Thanksgiving.   After you have thought about it, please share with the rest of the group.   I know that as a group if we think of the positive things, it will help us get through the hectic holidays and hopefully lessen the pain.   Happy Thanksgiving to everyone !!       Have a great holiday and don’t forget to smile : )     I am THANKFUL for…….............     My family and their health My Job To be able to make a difference in so many children's lives The healthy arrival of my new niece The warm house I am able to live in The food I have to eat The support of my family The ability to move ( I may be in pain, but I am able to walk and move ) Life

~I am so thankful for my family, there was a time when I didn't think I could have children, we now have 4.
~I am thankful for a wonderful and supportive husband when I see so many couples around me not making it. We struggled a few years ago, but that is behind us now and we are more in love than ever.
~I am thankful for our home. We came very close to losing our house before, we had a major move and carreer change. Now things are very much improved.
~And I am thankful that my illness will not get worse. I may be in pain, but I can see, and walk, and take care of my family (with a little help now and then)
