A little about
me....
6yrs ago i got very sick, couldn't walk, hold a spoon, sit up or roll over in bed without my husband pushing me etc. EXTREMELY bad.
I went to a doc who said i had a rhuematoid factor and gave me prednisone which helped enough to get to the bathroom and back.
6yrs later and a million doctors later, i walked into an office and the doctor took one look at me and said that it wasn't RA, it was fibro.
I have been on 3 different antidepressent drugs including lyrica and have to say wow, just WOW!
I am still an 8 on the pain scale instead of what i called a 15 (beyond pain).
I can walk without a walker, but need to lean on a grocery cart the whole time i shop. I can hit the mall, but have to take breaks again and again within an hour, but i can still go to the mall which is another wow for me.
I have made dinner 3 nights this week on my own (a wow for me) and i am only on a low dose lyrica and hope i will get better.
Sure, i hurt a TON still, but i can move, and i don't ache anymore when i'm not moving.
6yrs of heck, but thank god i finally am being helped the right way.
Thanks for listening and hope to get involved in chats soon.
