Did You Get Any Unusual Gifts???

I thought it might be fun to hear about odd, unusual, or funny gifts we received.  My kids gave me some wonderful gifts but there were two odd ones that I received.

 

I received color coordinated toilet brushes for Christmas!  tongue   They come in their own holder and the holder and handle are the same color.  I got a forest green one, a light blue one, and a lavendar one to match my bathrooms.  turn

 

I also received two rolls of extra long heavy duty foil for Christmas!  My daughter wanted lots of gifts under the tree and she had these at her house for over a year and never used them so she wrapped them up and gave them to me.  LOL  We joked about that all morning.  But, you know what?  I had to use some later in the day!  I made a casserole and baked it in a large lasagna dish.  I needed to transport it to my cousin's and that foil really came in handy.

My husband gave me a forged iron rose ... hand made by a farmer in our area ... it's pretty .. and I appreciate the craftsmanship .. but um ... a heavy, huge, black, iron rose? for christmas? he also gave me thick wool socks. ahh .. the romance!

i won't tell you what my 110 pound dog left for me under the tree .... at least we don't THINK that Santa did it. None of us was bad enough to deserve that kind of gift! and guess who found out ... while I was reaching down to plug in the tree ... ick!

My Dear Hubby gave me a Money Tree!!! He said I always think money grows on trees so he had to find (make) one and prove it to me LOL

With like 3 branches full of $10 "leaves"  too cool!!! 

He said if I do not take all the leaves off they may make more Leaves.  So I will test that theory! :)

Hehehe i love these :) Well two of my cousins each got me a red sox christmas ornament and neither knew the other was doing it. That was pretty cool. Last yr i got jeff dunham ornaments. Im thinking its becoming a theme lol. (but yay for when we move out we have plenty lol). And thats pretty much the 'weirdest' but i loved everything i got this yr so thats always a plus!! But i did think of my cousins bestfriend and how my cousin gave him a roll of paper towels lol! (among other household items) but definitely useful!!

My daughter and son in law are so cute. They think we need them to open the wine bottles for us. They live here in our home and are moving out in a few weeks. They got us an electric wine bottle opener because they are moving out and will not be here to open them for us! How sweet. I do know how to open wine bottles, but acutally, it is really handy. We also got a wine vacuum sealer thingy so we can keep opened wine longer. They were really thoughtful gifts.
