Battle of Pain

That is awesome and very powerful. For me that part that realy had something to say was th end. Some of us only rely on our emotional strength to fight the pain, others take supplements, while others still take prescriptions to manage their pain and hopefully add more quality to their lives. It shows the variation in pain control methods we all use yet the respect we have for each other.

Great poem and so true!

Thank you all for your replies. One thing I have learned about living with chronic pain is that
my emotions are not always consistent. Somedays I do feel overwhelmed and allow myself
a good cry. I also learned it is not OK to dwell in self pity. Every day is worth the effort to
push yourself to live in a healthy way, emotionally and physically. Believing you can is always
the first step.
