Fibromyalgia & Pleurisy

Hi - new to forums and new to fibromyalgia (well, the diagnosis anyway), but I found a thread about the pleurisy connection and then after registering lost it. I had pleurisy fifteen years ago which flared up again six months after the original acute pain. The acute pain was indescribable, then I had back pain and stiffness for months afterwards. The following year I had a muscle spasm in my back and couldn't straighten up for a day. Since then I've had lower back problems on & off.

I have numerous other symptoms such as fatigue (need to sleep many afternoons) migraines, irritable bladder & bowel, painful periods, anxiety etc etc as well as experiencing tendonitis. The tendonitis in my foot is what led me to the fibromyalgia question and the ultimate diagnosis. So it seems I've probably had fibro for years without knowing it.

I would be interested in others similar experiences. I noticed the question about fibromyalgia triggering pleurisy but I was wondering the other way round. Could pleurisy have triggered fibro??

Medications I'm on is paroxetine (for anxiety) and occasional sleeping tabs/valium, as well as usual OTC painkillers.
