hi everyone. does anyone here have rsd? if you do could you please let me know if low thyroid levels can affectii couldn't find the condition on this site and i desperately want information on it. any information anyone has will be greatly appreciated. the burning and tenderness to the skin is devastating. donna

And welcome to the Fibro forum. I have heard a few members discuss RSD before but I don't recall anything about low thyroid issues. I did some looking online and didn't find much, as I"m sure you've already found out. But one thing I did find is that low thyroid can cause or intensify anxiety with makes the RSD pain worse.

I'm so very sorry you are having to deal with this. We also have a Chronic Pain forum where you might get some answers. Also there is a good resource at the top of the Chronic Pain topics called Chronic Pain 101. In there you'll find links that might be of help. One thing you might consider is getting in touch with a university/teaching hospital and find a doctor there who treats RSD. Often these institutions are out ahead of the pack when it comes to difficult to solve disorders.
