Hi Denise! I also belonged to another forum before I found this one and after describing my RLS symptoms and asking a very benign question about
how much magnesium to take for this disorder, a moderator replied with: "I don't think you have RLS. I think you have MS and you should get to a doctor and have an MRI with contrast immediately." I replied by saying I had an MRI when I was first dx'd with fibro, furthermore I am 60 (at that time) years old and the doctor said it was highly unlikely to have initial onset MS at my age. She continuted to send me web links about
MS, which I never even
opened...I about
have a nervous breakdown by the time she was done with me. I reported her to the administration and have never been back.
We do NOT scare the crap out of each other here, which is wonderful because so many of us have anxiety issues with Fibro. I feel safe here and enjoy my wonderful fibro family.
