Tremors?

I was recently diagnosed with Fibro and CFS so I guess this symptom could be from either, but does anyone get periodic tremors?  Mine range from my hands being a little shaky to full blown "I almost poked my eye out trying to put a contact in" shaking - doesn't even look or feel like my own hand.  It's only periodic that it gets really bad and I think it correlates to when I'm holding my arms up - it never happens when they are just resting...but does anyone here experience this? It's kind of scary...smhair

Yes, I get shaky at times and I hate it. It feels like a blood-sugar thing, like I need something to eat right now, but eating doesn't really completely make it stop. If I hold up my hands, I can see them shake a little, but what I feel is kind of an all-over weakness at the same time, lasting about 10 or 15 minutes. It usually hits in the late morning, (not always) and doesn't neccessarily have to do with what I'm doing, feeling, etc. I agree, it's scary, you wonder if something is seriously wrong. I can go a week without it, or it might come every day for a week. I don't think it ever correlated to my periods....now that I'm postmenopausal, I sometimes think it comes before a hot flash, but not often. I've probably had this for at least 10 years and it's not getting any worse...

Thanks for your response. I got worried about MS initially as sometimes it gets pretty intense and not just shaking but completely moving side to side...but my doc. said she really doesn't think it's MS since it's when I'm using my hands and I've gotten weaker. I get the depoprovera birth control shot, so I don't get my period...but I think its just another symptom I'll have to get used to (just have to watch about poking myself in the eye or using that powerdrill again :) )! My daughter sometimes has tremors with this. However, they aren't as bad as they were a couple of months ago. I think it comes with the territory.
