I got my doc to write me a script
for a tens unit, (electrical stimulation). I am sitting here with it on. It is really, really neat. I think I asked about
this a week or so ago, duhh.....can I say fibro fog?
Anyway, I can put the leads where I want them and when I get used to the current I can turn it up. Hopefully when I am done in 20 minutes or so my shoulders will be more relaxed. In the other headache thread everybody described the same shoulder tension that turns into the headache.
My chiro firmly believes the headache is from the atlas / axis bones at the base of the skull being twisted & honestly he has been treating that same thing for the last 2 or 3 years. Sometimes my neck holds the adjustment and sometimes the stress just pops it out and I can actually feel it sometimes.
I also bought this hardish foam tube thingy that you roll your body on. It actually exercises the arms and works out some of the knots in the legs and butt.
