Just wondering here, my doctors put me on Cymbalta  60mgs a day and also 4 perks a day for the pain, so far this doesn't seem to be working, can anyone give me any suggestions i am going back to the doctor on friday to review the pain so see what else we can do.

There are so many drugs out there, if that is how you chose to go. Sometimes you have to give them a little more time, but sometimes they just don't work for you or the side effects are worst than the benefit. Do you like your doctor?

yes i really do like his, probably the best doctor i have ever seen, very easy to talk to and he never gives up until he knows whats wrong

You are lucky if you get the perks. I wouldn't want to change that. They are a good pain killer. Stronger than what I take. I take norco and it helps a lot. But perks are even better for pain.

I hope that you get some relief soon. The cymbalta can take up to six to eight weeks to reach their full potential. How long have you been on that? You might have to give it some time.

I just read your other post so I thought that I would add to this one.  Give the cymbalta time to work.  And the side effects should go away in about a week.  I hope that this works out for you.

thank you yes today is day four, and so far the best day i was actually able to do some grocery shopping by myself today. the pain is now just kicking in but i guess that is what happens when you walk and push a buggy for over an hour. so i will just be taking the rest of the day to relax probably when the kids get home curl up on the couch with the youngest and watch a movie. but hopefully tomorrow is as good as today!

That sure does sound cozy. I am glad that you have the little one to curl up with. I hope that you enjoy the movie. I am glad that you are feeling better.
