Well we have our local Show this week/weekend and I do not have time for the pain which I know is going to try to take the fun out off this yearly joy for my family. I will start with yesterday Wednesday. At the show yesterday was the junior cattle juding from ages of 6 to 25yrs. Our youngest son went in the first time in 5 years he met up with some off his frinds and their families thes young people are like a big extended family for us we have watched them grow up. We had a great time for the 6 hours we sat there. Our DS won two prizes to make it all the better,
Today Thursday we going go this afternoon to see the fireworks so I go and grab a prime site early with several blankets so our kids 4 adults there partners and all their friends will join us. A great fun time. Then tomorrow we arrive amout 9.30am too spend the whole day watching the show jumping checking out the side shows, all the displays and eating all the food. We have firewoorks again that night.
Saturday now that is my day at the show I arrive around 8.30am to get a good place for our camping chairs for the rodeo we sit and read talk to friends and catch up with the family. We try to get as much room as we can because all our friends know I arrive to get the space ring side so they come and sit with us. And we eat yes one thing about our show is the food several food stand are there every year so they become family favorites. when someone goes to get food they take orders with them. I know our SIL came last year for the first time and he is really looking forward to the Saturday off the show. It will be cold we had our first frost at the show last year and it looks like it will happen again this year. But we all take blankets or sleeping bags too keep warm with.
Some friends just don't understand why we do it. But as our kids tell them if Mum and Dad didn't go we would all worry it is tadition in our family and we have never missed a show 
So no matter the pain I just go to the car and lie down and cry if I need to or even have a bit of a sleep we will have a wonderful time and the family will have some new memories the grandkids will learn more about what makes the family a unit and I will have great memories and photos to look back on.
